The Consulate General of Ukraine in Toronto notifies that from December 5 to December 7,2001 in the National Palace “Ukraina” (Kyiv), there will be held the 2nd International Forum of Economic Cooperation “Partnership in the Name of Accord and Development”. The main tasks of the Forum are to inform Ukrainian and foreign businessmen of priority areas and perspective trends in the development of national economy, to promote competitive products, the newest technologies and inventions, to attract investments. The organizing committee, which is responsible for preparing and conducting of the Forum, is headed by the Prime-minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh.
The Program of the Forum includes the following events:
- Ukraine Regions’ Day;
- Exhibition of goods and services “Ukraine proposes cooperation” featuring a special display “Industry of Ukraine: investment potential”;
- Presentation of the information and image almanac “Golden Book of Ukrainian Elite”;
- Official ceremony of honoring the winners of the National competition “Golden Trade Marks”.
Leading national and foreign politicians, heads of ministries and government departments, regional and local authorities, as well as, representatives of independent public organizations, industrial and cultural associations, trade commissions of foreign countries, missions of World and European institutions in Ukraine are expected to take part in the events of the Forum.
